The Hoxton Apprentice Professional Women's Network brings together like-minded women executives who subscribe to the Network Motto: "There's a special place in Hell for any woman who doesn't help another woman".
We meet every 2 months for a three-course lunch and a speaker - unlike other lunches she begins talking before the first course and continues throughout the lunch. Contacts made via the Network tend to bring either more business or more friends and frequently both. The £45 cost is split between £25 for the lunch and £20 funding for long-term unemployed who are being given skills to get and keep a permanent job This is a guilt-free occasion as 100% of the profits are ploughed straight back into the charity, Training For Life.. Lunches are from noon to 2.15.
Come and join us. .............................................................................................................................................
The next lunch is from noon, Thursday, September 30th 2010.

Anne MacCaig, Chief Executive Cafédirect, a £22 million social enterprise which has played a pioneering role in the development of the Fairtrade movement in the UK. In June Anne was named Triodos Ethical Business Woman of the Year in recognition of her determination to improve the lives of more than a million people across the developing world. As well as pioneering ethical best practice, Anne led the company to scoop more awards than any other UK beverage brand at this year's Great Taste Awards, known to industry aficionados as the Foodie Oscars. For 20 years prior to Cafédirect, Anne worked in marketing and senior management roles with major brands from Persil to Dove and Rolls-Royce and Age Concern. As Ribena's Marketing Director, Anne led the brand's strategic turnaround, including the "95% of Britain's Blackcurrants Make It Campaign", and worked with blackcurrant growers and The Wildlife Trusts to encourage bio-diversity on British blackcurrant farms.
