I would like to thank you and your staff for the excellent service we received on Saturday. Khalid and Ayse were extremely helpful, professional and well organised. We could not have asked for better service and as I mentioned to Khalid, I shall endeavour to bring our business your way on a more regular basis should the opportunity arise.

Khalid was exceptionally welcoming and organised from the moment I arrived early. Everything was already done and set up. I shall certainly be recommending The Hoxton Apprentice to all and sundry!

Thanking you once more for your attentiveness and professionalism which really was second to none (including all the 5 star establishments I often find myself in). It is rare to find such excellence in London and I know that the hens at the Hen Party had a wonderful time too.

I've been coming here since I moved t the area in 2008. To me, my husband and sons it was a find. The food is good, the service is friendly, personal and trying to please. And it is a lovely place to sit.
This is an unpretentious restaurant, simply trying to do things well. As such it succeeds hands down. We eat out a lot, not always for fun but due to work. Here we come because we just like it. As a continental I don't look for circus acts and fluff. I want a good place to eat 'around the corner' and this is it.

Booked on Top Table as was going to a gig in the square. Realised it was the place I read about in the local Hackney Gazette with delicious recipes. Had a lovely starter of dips and flatbread. The guacamole was really tasty (not normally a fan). Our main of pollock and chips with minted peas and homemade tartar sauce was F.A.B.U.L.O.U.S! So lovely to have a sustainable fish with proper posh chips. Tartar sauce so good I had seconds. Definitely planning a return visit. Service so friendly and helpful (not the norm) in London these days so well done all round.
